Anna Robson Savone-Montalbano

Anna Robson Savone-Montalbano, 83, of Sebastian, FL, passed away on Saturday, December 3, 2011, at her daughter’s residence. Born February 11, 1928, in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late James and Clara Fuchs Robson. Mrs. Montalbano was a retired waitress. She was a volunteer at the American Legion, member of the Ladies of the Moose Club, and belonged to the Happy Hoofers of Sabastian for many years. Mrs. Montalbano was preceded in death by husbands, Peter Savone and Peter Montalbano; son, William Montalbano; daughter, Catherine “Pinky” Montalbano; and brothers, James and John Robson. She is survived by son, Louis Montalbano and wife, Angela, of Amityville, NY; daughter, Roseann Broy and husband, Steve, of Mooresville; grandchildren, Kimberley Carpenter and husband, Jason, Louis Montalbano, Gina Montalbano, Kristie Broy and Stephen Broy; and great granddaughters, Kailey and Julia Carpenter. The family will receive friends from 7 – 9 PM, Monday, December 5, 2011, with a prayer service at 8 PM, at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home, Mooresville. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Iredell County, 2347 Simonton Rd., Statesville, NC 28625.
