Alice Martin Lutz

July 29, 1928 - January 27, 2012

Alice Martin Lutz, 83, formerly of Charlotte, passed away Friday, January 27, 2012. She is survived by her loving husband of almost 65 years, Hansel Lee “Hank” Lutz, of Terrell, NC; three daughters, Kay Garrison and husband, Eric, of Browns Summit, NC, Lou Ann Long and husband, David, of Cascade, VA, Nita Whitaker and husband, Keith, of Kannapolis, NC; and one son, Hansel Lee “Hans” Lutz II and wife, Letitia, of Mint Hill, NC; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. A Celebration of Life will be held at Hopewell United Methodist Church on Sunday, January 29, 2012 at 3:30 PM. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the Family Life Center of the church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Hopewell United Methodist Church, 2211 Hopewell Church Road, Sherrills Ford, NC 28673.
