Cremation Services
Cremation may be chosen for a variety of reasons including religious or philosophical beliefs, environmental concerns, simplicity, or final disposition choices. Cremation allows numerous options for funeral services and final disposition of the cremated remains. The greatest misunderstanding about cremation is that there is no need for a funeral service. The funeral or memorial service is an important step in managing grief. Services may be held in one of several ways to meet your family’s needs.
Funeral Service with Cremation as Final Disposition:
This service is similar to a traditional funeral service. It may be held in our all-faith chapel, one of our funeral parlors, or your place of worship. A cremation or rental casket is used for the funeral service. Cremation is performed after the service. Visitation options are available.
Cremation Funeral Service:
This service may be held in our funeral home chapel, one of our funeral parlors, or your place of worship with the cremated remains present during the service. At the conclusion of the service, the remains may be taken to the cemetery for burial or given to the family. Visitation options are available.
Graveside Cremation Service:
This service is held at a cemetery. Cremated remains may be present for the service or buried before the service begins. Visitation options are available.
Cremation with Memorial Service or Life Celebration:This remembrance service is held without the cremated remains present. It may be held in our all-faith chapel, one of our funeral parlors, your place of worship, or another appropriate location.
Direct Cremation:
This option does not include a memorial or funeral service. The funeral home performs the cremation and the cremated remains are returned to the family.
