Aftercare

After the funeral, there are still a number of things that require your attention. Our staff will assist you by providing a checklist detailing each item which may require your attention. Do not feel overwhelmed. Keep in mind that every situation may not apply to you. Review your list carefully and contact the businesses and/or agencies that apply to you. Try to communicate with one individual and make notes of the requirements needed. Use your time efficiently, completing as much as possible by mail or telephone unless a meeting is required. Please note that our staff does notify Social Security of the death of your loved one. However, you still need to contact Social Security directly to claim any benefits to which you may be entitled.
